US-based startup Cognition launches Devin, which they are calling the ‘first AI software engineer’. This is a revolutionary advancement for the developer community as now you can have an entire source code generated from just one line of code prompt.

We know AI can play video games, but now it can play like humans and not just to beat high scores! Google’s DeepMind team unveiled the world’s first AI Gaming Agent called SIMA. SIMA stands for Scalable Instructable Multiworld Agent.

🤖 Covariant’s RFM-1 Will Make Robots Think Like Humans

Covariant has made an LLM model called RFM-1 exclusive to Robots! It is an 8 billion parameter transformer trained using a variety of numerical sensor readings, text, photos, videos, and robot activities.

• Comes with several features such as Action Prediction and Language Guided Robot Programming.

• Trained on a multimodal dataset especially designed for more real-world simulating environments for robot actions.

• As the model is in its testing phase, Covariant has admitted to some of the model’s current limitations and how they are working to fix them.

• Covariant hasn’t made RFM-1 available, however, customers can expect the tool to show up in the upcoming months.

🤝 To Promote Generative AI, Apple Acquires a Canadian AI Firm

With its recent acquisition of DarwinAI, a Canadian business focused on computer vision and accelerating the development of AI systems, Apple has covertly acquired another AI startup.

• DarwinAI's solutions are concentrated on deep neural network optimization and computer vision.
