🤝 OpenAI and Stack Overflow Deal Explained: What Will Change?

OpenAI has made a groundbreaking announcement that might change the industry forever. With a new API-based partnership with Stack Overflow, OpenAI aims to improve the performance of its generative AI models and give developers a completely new experience.

🤐 “GPT-4 is the dumbest Model” says OpenAI CEO Sam Altman

Strange to say, but those are the actual words from the CEO himself. He said this: “GPT-4 is the dumbest model any of you will ever have to use again by a lot. It's important to ship early and often and we believe in iterative deployment. If we go build AGI in a basement and then the world is kind of blissfully walking blindfolded along, I don't think that makes us very good neighbours.

  • The question to him was about the operating costs and financial sustainability of AI models.

🌐 Now You Can Access Gemini AI Chatbot on Chrome Browser

Google introduced a new feature in Chrome that allows users to access its Gemini AI model through the Chrome Search Bar. Users just have to type ‘@’ on the Chrome desktop address bar to quickly start a chat with Gemini.

  • Google introduced a new feature that lets its users access Gemini through the search bar on Chrome browser using the ‘@’ shortcut.

  • This feature lets users quickly prompt Gemini within the search bar itself without having to open Gemini separately.

  • Google is also expanding the availability of its Gemini app across more than 100 countries worldwide.

X & GROK
📰 X Now Supports 'Stories' Feature, Thanks To Grok AI

X (previously known as Twitter) now supports a new feature called Stories which shows the trending news or topics It is using the Grok AI to leverage the news summarization on X.

  • X has launched Stories features to summarise the latest news, using its Grok AI.

  • The new summarization is powered by their AI chatbot named Grok.

  • Comes with a few limitations that X has willingly admitted and provided solutions as well.

ANTHROPIC
📳 Anthropic’s Claude AI chatbot Launched for iOS: What’s New?

The Claude Chatbot app is now available on Apple’s App Store for all iOS users. All users of Claude can download the Claude iOS app for free. It has the same user-friendly interface as the mobile web, with photo uploading and syncing of your chat history among its features.

Insights for you:

  • Anthropic releases the Claude Mobile App for iOS users on Apple’s App Store for download.

  • The new Claude mobile App will allow users to take real-time photos anywhere and anytime. They can also upload these photos so that Claude can perform real-time analysis on these images.

  • Pro and Team users can download the app free of charge. The App allows for multi-platform syncing across all devices.

NVIDIA
🖥️ NVIDIA ChatRTX Now Supports Google’s Gemma & ChatGLM3

ChatRTX works as a personalized ChatGPT-like bot to ask queries about your own local data, including docs and images. Now, ChatRTX is expanding its support to even more models, including Google’s Gemma.

Insights for you:

  • ChatRTX now supports Google’s Gemma, a lightweight Gemini derivative and ChatGLM3, an English and Chinese LLM built on the general language model foundation.

  • These news models add better image analysis and speech recognition capabilities.

  • Only Windows 11 PCs can use NVIDIA’s ChatRTX, which requires an NVIDIA GeForce™ RTX 30 or 40 Series GPU with at least 8GB of VRAM and 16GB of RAM or more.

MIDJOURNEY
🖼️ Try It: Midjourney’s Web Alpha Expands Access to More Creators

Midjourney has made a groundbreaking announcement on their discord platform that they are now offering Midjourney Web Alpha to all those users who have generated at least 100 images with the help of the image generation AI chatbot.

Insights for you:

  • The Midjourney Web Alpha Website allows you to directly create images from prompts.

  • The Web Alpha website also comes with a lightbox that gives you access to all Midjourney functions. These functions allow you change default settings for images and even change parameters such as Aspect Ratios.

  • To access the Web Alpha Website in the beta version, all you have to do is create 100 images with Midjourney’s Discord bot and then you are good to go.
