🖥️ Nvidia Reveals the World’s Smallest AI Supercomputer
Nvidia's new Project Digits brings supercomputer-level AI processing to your desk, with enough power to run AI models with up to 200 billion parameters right from a home office setup. It is powered by the GB10 Grace Blackwell super chip, developed in collaboration with Taiwanese company MediaTek.
Insights for you:
Nvidia has introduced Project Digits, a "personal AI supercomputer" to provide AI researchers, data scientists, and students worldwide.
The system allows users to develop and test AI models on their desktop, before moving them to cloud or data center systems.
Users also can access an extensive library of NVIDIA AI software for experimentation and prototyping.

🎼 ByteDance's new AI brings images to life with audio
TikTok's parent company ByteDance has developed an AI system called INFP that can make static portrait photos appear to speak and react to audio input. It can naturally adapt to related tasks like talking or listening head generation without any modification.
Insights for you:
Researchers at Bytedance have developed an AI framework called INFP that can generate lifelike dialog videos for conversations between two people without having to manually assign the roles of "listener" and "speaker”.
INFP consists of two steps: In the first step, the model learns communicative behavior from videos. In the second step, the model learns to map audio input to movements.
INFP is particularly good at matching lip movements to speech, preserving the person's unique facial features, and creating a wide variety of natural-looking movements.

➗ AI learns math better with a new approach using less data
Researchers have found a more efficient way to help AI models learn mathematics. Their new approach, called PRIME, delivers better results while using just a fraction of the training data needed by other methods.
Insights for you:
Researchers have developed a new approach called PRIME that helps AI models learn mathematics more efficiently.
The PRIME-trained model, Eurus-2-7B-PRIME, outperformed larger models like GPT-4o and Llama-3.1-70B-Instruct across mathematical benchmarks, with a significant improvement of 16.7 percentage points compared to its predecessor, Qwen 2.5 Math 7B.
What makes PRIME different is how it teaches AI models. Instead of just telling the model whether its final answer is right or wrong, PRIME provides continuous feedback throughout the problem-solving process.
