✍️ Google Meet will now Take Notes for You

“Take notes for me” is a new feature (powered by Gemini) in Google Meet that automatically takes notes. You can now focus on discussion, collaboration, and presentation during meetings, without writing the notes side-by-side.

  • Google has started rolling out 'Take Notes for Me' for Google Meet.

  • It is available for select Workspace customers, and only English language is supported.

  • The final notes document (with summary and bullet points) will be attached to the calendar event of the meeting.

🍓 OpenAI Release New Secret AI Model 'Strawberry' Soon

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman teased it just a few weeks before, and now it is ripe. The Information reports that they might launch the ‘Strawberry’ AI model. It can several complex tasks and solve math problems that other LLMs can’t. It might be integrated into ChatGPT as well.

  • OpenAI is preparing to launch a new AI model codename: Strawberry, this fall.

  • The model was previously known internally as Q*.

  • Rumours say that it scored over 90% of the MATH benchmark.

📰 Get Daily AI-generated news Summaries on Alexa

According to the Washington Post, Amazon is planning to launch a delayed AI-powered Alexa subscription in October. The documents said that “AI features that help customers curate, summarize, and explore current events was also rated as one of the top customer requests.

Insights for you:

  • The “Smart Briefing” AI feature will provide summaries of new articles based on user preferences.

  • These new features might require a paid subscription, up to $10 per month.

  • Some more features in development include conversational shopping tools and a chatbot for children.

🤖 Google launched 3 New Gemini 1.5 Models

These are currently in the experimental stages you can try them in Google AI Studio. Internal benchmarks showed improvements across complex prompts, math problems and coding for 1.5 Pro. They all gained increased rank on the LMSO leaderboard.

Here are the 3 models:

  • A new smaller variant, Gemini 1.5 Flash-8B

  • A stronger Gemini 1.5 Pro model

  • A significantly improved Gemini 1.5 Flash model

🤖 Anthropic revealed its ‘system prompts’ for Claude AI

While this doesn’t happen usually, Anthropic has released the system prompts of its latest Claude AI models. Some of the important prompts are not opening links, not allowing facial recognition, and handling controversial topics carefully.

Here are the 3 models:

  • Anthropic has revealed its ‘system prompts’ for Claude AI models in the release notes dated 12 July 2024.

  • These prompts also define the limitations of Claude models 3.5 Sonnet, Opus, and Haiku.

  • The move was done for more transparency in the AI development space.
