Anthropic has surprised the whole world of Generative AI by announcing the release of its latest chatbot model Claude 3. The company was founded by former members of OpenAI and even funded by Amazon and Google.

Now ChatGPT can read out your generated answers, thanks to its new Real Aloud feature. Now you can even say goodbye to the hassles of reading vast amounts of generated content and save up time for yourself.

Inflection AI just released Inflection-2.5, a model that goes up against all of the top LLMs in the world, like as Gemini and GPT-4.

  • All Pi users can now access Inflection-2.5 through pi.ai, the new desktop app, for iOS, and Android.

  • Inflection-2.5 uses 40% of the processing power for training, yet it achieves performance close to that of GPT-4.

Orca-Math: Microsoft’s Small AI To Solve Big Math Problems

Microsoft announced Orca-Math, an SLM (Small Language Model) to solve grade school-level math problems. It beats GPT 3.5 and Gemini to solve mathematics problems, and this one is quite smaller in size.

🛑 Google’s AI Secrets Stolen by Ex-engineer

A software engineer Linwei Ding, 38, also known as Leon, was taken into custody in his home in Newark, California. In conjunction with an alleged scheme to steal Google's private information about artificial intelligence, he was charged with four counts of theft of trade secrets.

  • Ding is accused of stealing information about supercomputing data centers and copying it onto a personal Google Cloud account.

  • Meanwhile, he started his own AI company in Shanghai and was covertly recruited as CTO of a Beijing-based business.

  • When Ding was in China, he had a coworker scan his badge at the company's U.S. office to make it appear as though he was there.

⚠️ Researchers Beware of AI Worms, A New Threat to AI Systems

A team of researchers has developed what they believe to be the first generative AI worm named Morris II, which may travel from one device to another and perhaps steal data or install malware in the process.

  • The worm makes its way into the Gen AI system in three ways namely replication, propagation, and malicious activity.
